About
The Pines & Cady Hill (PACH), established in 1976 in Columbus, Mississippi, provides both residential and outpatient services for those facing addiction and related mental health issues. The center integrates research-backed, customized therapies with 12-step programs, artistic expression, and recreational activities.
PACH focuses on long-term recovery from addiction, emphasizing trauma-informed care and co-occurring conditions. The main residential program includes over 30 hours per week of clinical services, covering group sessions, psychoeducational workshops, family therapy, and individual counseling. Their transitional phase supports residents in reintegrating into the community while still receiving therapeutic assistance.
Pines & Cady Hill also features an intensive outpatient program and Caprice Recovery Living (CRL), along with recovery support services designed to help individuals uphold their sobriety amidst daily life challenges. These initiatives create structured living conditions and continued encouragement to foster lasting recovery.
As a recipient of the state opioid response (SOR) grant, PACH is dedicated to assisting those with opioid addiction, primarily through medication-assisted treatment (MAT). The most commonly prescribed medications for managing opioid use disorders include naltrexone and buprenorphine (suboxone). PACH develops personalized MAT strategies that involve counseling, social support, and other clinically recommended options such as intensive outpatient care or ongoing recovery services to ensure continued progress.
