Project Turnabout - Willmar Women's Residential

The Willmar Campus provides a residential recovery program tailored for women aged 18 and older who are overcoming alcohol or drug dependency. This supportive environment, often referred to as a "halfway house," aids women in their initial recovery phase as they transition back to schooling, employment, or community engagement. The duration of the program generally ranges from 60 to 180 days and aims to connect intensive treatment with the skills needed for independent living. Participants benefit from a well-structured daily schedule, which includes group therapy sessions, personal counseling, spirituality discussions, family meetings, and 12-Step support groups. These therapeutic activities empower residents to develop coping strategies, enhance family dynamics, and sustain sobriety. The program also addresses concurrent mental health issues, offering professional mental health services on-site along with licensed nursing staff available around the clock. Residents are accommodated in two-bedroom apartment-style units that include a bathroom, kitchen, dining area, and living room. The center boasts various amenities such as a fitness area, laundry services, and a large communal lounge. Additionally, the campus features Cheri's Place, a sober living space, The Alcove, a meditation gazebo, and townhome apartments designed for women focused on educational or career advancement.
