They offer various services including partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and standard outpatient care. The entire treatment team comprises individuals who have firsthand experience with addiction, providing a unique understanding and empathetic approach to each patient's journey. Customized care plans are developed for each individual, addressing their specific needs and backgrounds to ensure they receive optimal support for their recovery.
The center’s personalized treatment options encompass a wide range of therapeutic modalities, such as individual and group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), art therapy, motivational enhancement therapy (MET), interpersonal therapy, as well as stress and anger management. They also focus on relapse prevention and facilitate the 12-Step program. Clients take an active role in determining which therapies align best with their personal preferences and experiences, recognizing the complexity of addiction and the individuality of each client.
In a typical week, participants in the intensive outpatient program can expect around three hours of group therapy daily, alongside one hour of individual therapy weekly, and 30 hours of case management services. Flexible scheduling is offered to accommodate clients' needs. The day treatment program provides a higher level of care with more frequent visits, while standard outpatient services generally include one or two individual or group sessions weekly. Located in a lovely area of Wilmington, the facility presents a peaceful setting conducive to recovery, situated less than five minutes from the nearest exit of State Highway 141.
