Sage Health Centre is a residential facility dedicated to providing tailored treatment options for individuals battling addiction issues. The focus of the residential program is on stabilization and initial recovery, blending the 12-Step/SMART approach with holistic wellness practices and strategies for preventing relapse. Clients benefit from unlimited individual counseling sessions, allowing for a personalized exploration of core challenges and immediate issues. While undergoing treatment, clients participate in both co-ed and gender-specific group sessions that address various subjects, including strategies for relapse prevention, setting personal boundaries, managing codependency, enhancing life skills, anger management, conflict resolution, stress relief, and more. Additionally, family members are given virtual support during the client's treatment journey. In terms of aftercare, Sage Health Centre offers comprehensive relapse prevention planning by identifying possible triggers and developing a continuing care strategy that includes regular check-ins, outpatient counseling, access to community resources, and participation in 12-Step/SMART recovery meetings. There are also four weekly virtual continuing care groups available at no extra cost for alumni. The center is situated on a tranquil, private property in Kamloops, B.C., providing clients with a warm, homely atmosphere. Participants will experience comfortable living accommodations within a nurturing and structured framework.
