Summit Behavioral Health is one of six outpatient rehabilitation centers spread across New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) employs a unique holistic methodology for addiction treatment, customized for each individual. The program includes up to 9 hours of therapeutic activities weekly, featuring both individual and group sessions. Alongside personalized care, Summit incorporates a 12-Step program for additional support and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) aimed at uncovering the deeper issues related to addiction. A standard day at the center involves engaging in activities with a mentor or sponsor, a structured meeting timetable, journaling, participation in 12-Step initiatives, motivational enhancement sessions, physical exercise, and assessments to enhance accountability. Summit also offers a range of programs specifically designed for families and adolescents. Their adolescent treatment services include multiple levels of care, such as thorough assessments, early intervention, substance abuse treatment, and intensive outpatient options. For families with members struggling with addiction, Summit's family programs provide essential counseling and educational resources. They empower families with the skills necessary to establish boundaries and furnish the support their loved ones need to succeed in recovery. With accreditation from The Joint Commission, Summit Behavioral Health emphasizes a client-focused approach that incorporates comprehensive strategies conducive to sustainable recovery.
