The facility can host up to 100 adults and 60 adolescents for its residential programs. At any time, outpatient services serve between 30 to 50 clients, with adults typically staying for about 20 days and adolescents for as much as 45 days. Sundown M Ranch employs a range of evidence-based methodologies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), 12-Step support, individual and group therapy, equine-assisted therapy, family counseling, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Educational classes offered include parenting skills, life management, and tailored programs for adolescents. The center boasts a dedicated team of over 150 staff members, ensuring a favorable staff-to-client ratio of 2:1. It holds CARF accreditation and accepts most major insurance plans. Spanning 35 acres, the facility includes private accommodations and shared jack-and-jill bathrooms. Amenities feature a large lecture hall, a conference room, and a spacious gym of 7,000 square feet equipped for basketball and volleyball. Meals are provided in a cafeteria setting in a large dining hall, with a dietician-curated menu aimed at maintaining optimum nutrition for all clients.
