Tranquility Woods Outpatient

Tranquility Woods offers therapy services in a semi-rural setting conveniently located between D.C. and Annapolis, Maryland, as well as through online platforms. Their recovery methodology combines evidence-based psychological treatment with a 12-Step process. Tranquility Woods posits that addiction isn't solely caused by substance use, but rather by deeper issues that lead individuals to self-medicate. They create customized treatment plans for each client, incorporating both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing proven techniques like dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The outpatient offerings at Tranquility Woods feature partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), available from Monday to Thursday. The day treatment sessions run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and include group therapy, complemented by weekly one-on-one counseling, totaling nearly 21 hours of treatment weekly. The IOP options are designed to fit clients’ schedules, occurring either from 8-11 a.m. or 5:45-8:45 p.m. Clients can participate in these programs at the Arnold location or from the comfort of their own homes.

The Rehabilitation Center specializes in the treatment of substance use issues and associated mental health disorders. Our individualized treatment approach ensures that all conditions are addressed simultaneously, providing supportive and compassionate care for holistic recovery.

At our center, we proudly welcome a variety of private health insurance plans, including TRICARE for those with out-of-network coverage. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to accept Medicaid or Medicare from any state.
