Volunteers of America Dakotas

The Volunteers of America Dakotas program delivers a range of services, including counseling and trauma-informed care, alongside evaluations for substance use and aftercare support, catering to children, teens, and adults facing mental health and substance-related challenges. Issues addressed encompass depression, anxiety, stress, grief, and trauma, as well as family and relational problems like divorce and parenting challenges. This center offers therapeutic options such as individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and medication management to tackle diverse issues. Specialized services include trauma-focused therapy tailored for youth and treatment programs for substance use targeting both adults and adolescents. The moral reconation therapy (MRT) initiative aims to guide individuals dealing with substance dependency toward healthier decision-making. At VOA Dakotas, the new start program provides residential care that fosters a safe environment for pregnant and parenting women contending with substance use issues, allowing them to keep their children close during treatment. Moreover, VOA Dakotas features intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for individuals who do not need round-the-clock care.

The Rehabilitation Center specializes in addressing substance abuse issues alongside related mental health challenges. Each patient's treatment plan is designed to tackle both problems simultaneously, ensuring tailored and empathetic support for holistic recovery.

Medicaid and a variety of insurance plans are welcomed here. We also offer a sliding fee scale to accommodate different financial situations.
