Way Back Inn Grateful House

Established in 1974, The Way Back Inn Grateful House is a non-profit organization focused on assisting individuals in the recovery process following issues related to substance abuse and gambling. This center provides a range of care options, such as Extended Residential Care (ERC), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) services. With a capacity of 10 beds, it offers structured, long-term care for adult men, where residents typically stay for a duration of 90 days to one year. In the ERC program, participants benefit from clinical services, living arrangements, and meals that are all part of tailored treatment plans. Upon completion of this program, individuals can move on to Recovery Homes, which provide reduced clinical support as they prepare for independent living. The center also features intensive outpatient programming (IOP) offered in person, alongside outpatient services (OP) accessible via zoom or telehealth. Teens between the ages of 13 and 17 can also engage in these outpatient services. The center takes a holistic approach to recovery, emphasizing individualized treatment plans, clinical services, and skill-building for everyday life. Weekly family psychoeducation therapy groups assist patients and their families in tackling addiction-related issues and the effects on family dynamics. The ultimate aim of the center is to foster sustainable recovery through therapeutic support and community engagement.
