Youth Home

Youth Home, Inc., founded in 1966, is a nonprofit mental health facility situated in Little Rock, Arkansas. This organization is committed to empowering youth, adults, and families to improve their health and become engaged members of society through dedicated emotional and behavioral health services. Youth Home provides a range of care options, including a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) for youth under the care of the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) and an Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT) Program. These initiatives cater to adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 who face significant mental health issues such as reactive attachment disorder (RAD), anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD/ADD, and OCD. The treatment methods feature a recognized Recreational Therapy Program and an educational service on-site, accredited by the Arkansas Department of Education. The facility maintains a client-to-caregiver ratio of 4 to 1, allowing for personalized attention. Alongside its residential options, Youth Home runs an outpatient service known as Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas, which provides support to families, parents, couples, and individuals across all age groups. This clinic includes a school-based therapy initiative designed to help children whose behavioral, emotional, and social challenges are impacting their learning. Furthermore, Youth Home holds accreditation from The Joint Commission.
