About
Stephanie Hazard is a highly regarded recovery coach who supports individuals and families nationwide. With a personal recovery journey spanning twenty-five years, her rich experience and training enable her to assist others in attaining and maintaining their recovery and well-being. In 2021, she established her private coaching business, A Path Toward Recovery.
Having grown up in an environment heavily influenced by alcohol, Stephanie faced significant challenges throughout her life. Her own struggles with an eating disorder and alcohol use disorder allow her to connect meaningfully with others. She understands the complexities and rewards of navigating motherhood and working life while in recovery. Despite a thriving career in television commercial production, advertising, and marketing, she grappled with hidden battles that impacted her first marriage and her overall health.
Becoming sober at thirty-six as a single mother marked a pivotal moment for Stephanie. As she began dedicating much of her free time to assisting others and collaborating with recovery-focused non-profits, she aligned her personal journeys with her professional aspirations by becoming a full-time Recovery Coach Professional (RCP) in 2019. She supports those facing substance use disorders, eating disorders, and those exploring sobriety, promoting wellness and recovery. As an advocate, mentor, and guide, Stephanie coaches individuals and families both in-person and online. She champions diverse recovery pathways and has built a wealth of recovery resources, connections, and a professional network featuring leaders in addiction and recovery. Alongside her role as an RCP, she is also a certified peer recovery specialist (CPRS) and a certified eating disorder recovery coach through the Carolyn Costin Institute (CCIEDC). Stephanie has delivered keynote speeches and conducted recovery and wellness workshops in her community. She is an active member of the International Association of Recovery Coach Professionals (IARCP) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and dedicates her time to volunteer at Silver Hill Hospital while serving on the Advisory Board of the Inservice Foundation.

Providers Policy
At A Path Toward Recovery, we understand that the financial aspects of seeking help can be as daunting as the challenges faced in recovery. While we are committed to providing high-quality coaching and support, it is important to note that our services may not be covered by traditional health insurance plans, as we offer personalized recovery coaching and wellness guidance rather than clinical treatment services.
We encourage clients to explore flexible payment options that work best for their individual needs. We accept major credit cards and offer payment plans to make our services more accessible. Additionally, we can provide receipts for clients who wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance providers for out-of-network services.
We also suggest reaching out to your insurance company to inquire about your specific benefits related to coaching services. Some plans may have provisions for wellness coaching or recovery support that could potentially cover part of the costs.
A Path Toward Recovery is dedicated to empowering individuals and families on their journeys to wellness. Should you have any questions regarding payment options, please feel free to contact our office. We are here to support you every step of the way.
