The center employs evidence-based group therapy, conducts random drug screenings, and provides avenues for residents to develop leadership skills and teamwork at the facility, along with personal finance education. Key leadership positions within the house include House Manager, Assistant Manager, House Accountant, and Chore Advisor. During their initial month, residents participate in five recovery meetings each week, transitioning to three meetings weekly thereafter. Participation in external treatment programs is not a requirement for residents of Access Foundation. Accredited by the Joint Commission and the Utah state government, Access Foundation Shadow Springs features a spacious layout with 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 entertainment areas, a backyard, and a laundry facility, totaling 3,800 square feet. Residents are expected to attend their weekly recovery sessions and a house meeting every Sunday at 6 p.m. It is mandatory for residents to secure employment within their first month, with assistance provided for job searches. The facility enforces a strict no-drugs policy, requiring residents who test positive to vacate the premises while holding their beds for 72 hours; they may return if they subsequently test negative. Smoking is permitted outside but not within the building. A curfew of 10 p.m. is observed during the initial 30 days, which extends to midnight afterward. Monthly rent is set at $500, due on the first day of each month, alongside a security deposit of $300. Random drug tests, as well as tests for suspected use, are conducted for a fee of $5 each. Late rent incurs charges of $25 for payments made between the 6th and 15th, and $50 for payments made after the 15th. Venmo and CashApp payments are accepted, as well as card payments with a 3.25% processing fee. For aspiring entrepreneurs, Access Foundation provides BizLab services, focusing on helping individuals looking to set up businesses during recovery. The consultation fee for basic BizLab services is $90 per hour, with a BizLab kit available for $350, or all four kits for $990. Access Foundation also offers additional accommodation options for men at locations such as Saving Grace, Elmwood, Serenity Station, The Mission, and The Parkway, as well as nearby options for women at Elmwood, Serenity Station, and Sundown, all conveniently located near Zion National Park. While the other properties maintain similar policies, they may differ in weekly meeting schedules.
