Their in-home addiction treatment (IHAT) program merges at-home and virtual assistance, offering concierge services tailored to individual requirements. The center approaches addiction through a biopsychosocial model, utilizing evidence-based therapies, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), individual and family therapy, and collaboration with outside healthcare providers. For those who require it, clients can receive medically supervised detoxification through virtual nursing and MAT. The core philosophy of Aware Recovery Care is rooted in empathy and the conviction that everyone deserves a chance for sustained recovery. By focusing on personalized needs and offering ongoing support within the home environment, they aim to assist individuals in reaching a healthier, satisfying life free from addiction. Each client at Aware Recovery Care is assigned a care coordinator, either a nurse or social worker, along with two client recovery advisors (CRAs) who provide peer support and assist in the treatment process. They evaluate any additional care required and coordinate appointments with primary care physicians, individual therapists, medical specialists, and family education facilitators. If clients have existing healthcare professionals, the center's medical director works alongside them to ensure cohesive care. A family education facilitator helps family members understand addiction, recovery, and ways to heal collectively. The program at Aware Recovery Care extends monthly, with treatment durations ranging from one month to a year. Their in-home and virtual offerings allow for up to 20 one-on-one virtual therapy sessions with an internal psychotherapist, where clients learn effective stress management and work on enhancing their self-esteem, self-compassion, and communication abilities. They also confront and reshape negative thought patterns. A typical day with Aware Recovery Care includes a one-hour session with a member of their care team and, depending on the schedule, either an in-person visit from one of the two CRAs or a video consultation with their therapist. Clients also engage in monthly meetings with their Care Coordinator. The care team collaborates regularly to ensure that treatment aligns with clients’ evolving needs and objectives. Clients at Aware Recovery Care experience a customized discharge process that reflects their individual treatment plans and home situations. They collaborate with their clinical coordinator to discuss a detailed discharge strategy, which encompasses ongoing engagement with support networks, established goals, and aftercare appointments with licensed providers involved in their treatment experience.
