Bear River Health (BRH) offers specialized treatment for substance use disorders in the scenic region of northwest Lower Michigan, with an emphasis on gender-specific residential programs. Situated at their Boyle Falls campus, BRH's intensive four-week residential program caters specifically to men dealing with alcohol and drug addictions, including opioid dependency. Additionally, BRH extends outpatient and outreach services to both genders, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) aimed at facilitating sustained recovery. Within the residential framework, BRH implements the evidence-based Living in Balance program, featuring daily group therapy sessions and classes designed to prevent relapse.
