Calo Programs is dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by individuals who have experienced trauma during their developmental years. Youths impacted by such experiences often find it difficult to forge healthy connections with family members and peers, struggle with emotional regulation, and may display inappropriate behaviors in various settings. The clients at Calo Programs embark on a journey towards developing a healthy self-identity with an emphasis on safety and healing, utilizing various therapeutic methods. Among these methods are animal-assisted therapy, neurofeedback, individual therapy, occupational therapy, and residential therapy. Programs at Calo are available for children aged 9 to 18 whose parents or guardians are actively involved in the treatment of reactive attachment disorder. The center offers specialized programs for preteens (ages 9–14) and single-gender adolescents (ages 14–18). They address a range of challenges, including ADD/ADHD, attachment issues related to adoption, anxiety, ASD, bipolar disorder, depression, conflicts stemming from divorce, grief, low self-esteem, and trauma.
