The center caters to a variety of anxiety-related issues such as generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), agoraphobia, panic disorder, and body dysmorphic disorder. Adolescent girls at Cascade Academy have the opportunity to engage in exciting adventure activities while also receiving education through small classes led by dedicated teachers, with options for college preparation. The academy prioritizes evidence-based treatments and employs therapies like exposure response prevention (ERP), EMDR, motivational interviewing, group sessions, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Outdoor activities away from the center include rock climbing, downhill skiing, and mountain biking. The expansive grounds of Cascade Academy feature nutrious meals prepared by chefs, tennis courts, art projects, and various counseling options in both individual and group settings. The program is designed for long-term recovery, typically spanning nine months. Facilities include shared bedrooms, classrooms, comfortable communal areas, and televisions. The center is accredited by the Joint Commission and offers self-pay options, along with scholarships and financial assistance for those in need.
