Seasoned clinicians with master's and doctoral degrees specialize in addressing various behavioral and emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, social difficulties, mood disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD), among others. They implement their proprietary CARE model, which caters to clinical, academic, relational, and experiential needs. The experiential treatment components at Discovery Ranch involve activities such as equine therapy, cow therapy, calf adoption, recreation therapy, music and performance therapy, sand tray therapy, and a peer leadership initiative. Families are invited to strengthen their bonds through weekly family therapy sessions, family visits, and Parent Day events. To cultivate a sense of responsibility and accountability, the girls actively engage in daily chores and the routine operations of ranch life. They also participate in physical fitness activities, enjoy healthy meals, receive psychiatric evaluations and medication management, and engage in community service projects.
