Eating Disorder Center of Montana

The Eating Disorder Center of Montana (EDCMT) was established by three committed women aiming to offer professional and accessible treatment for eating disorders to a community that requires it. Since its founding in 2013, EDCMT has expanded to include more than 20 staff members and operates in two locations. Catering to both men and women, EDCMT offers intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), outpatient services, and virtual outpatient care. The center’s programs are designed for individuals aged 16 and older. To promote holistic living, the Eating Disorder Center of Montana employs a comprehensive strategy that integrates evidence-based approaches with holistic therapies, including music, art, and yoga. During their treatment, clients meet with a nutritionist weekly and have therapy sessions twice a week. Group activities encompass nutrition education, process groups, meditation, outdoor therapy, mindfulness, cooking classes, and moments for self-reflection. The Eating Disorder Center of Montana also provides accommodation for clients over 18 from outside Bozeman, Montana. This comfortable, upscale residence can accommodate up to six clients simultaneously and is conveniently located within walking distance of the treatment center. Most bedrooms are shared, and the house features a full kitchen, dining room, living space, and laundry facilities. The EDCMT treatment environment is designed to evoke a homely atmosphere. With bright and welcoming rooms, soothing spaces, and cozy furnishings, clients can quickly experience a sense of peace.
