Freedom Recovery of Ohio

Freedom Recovery provides a variety of services, including outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and telehealth options for those facing substance use challenges in the Columbus, Ohio region. The center combines evidence-based practices with a 12-Step methodology and a faith-based perspective. Programs are offered both during the day and in the evening to accommodate individuals with busy lives. Participants work alongside staff to create tailored treatment plans that incorporate relapse prevention techniques alongside the 12-Step framework. Freedom Recovery operates through six facilities throughout the Columbus area. The IOP consists of three hours of structured programming, three days a week, making it ideal for those who have a solid support network, as clients spend considerable time outside the facility. The standard outpatient program offers added flexibility, making it suitable for those with caregiving duties or job commitments. Telehealth services are available for individuals who reside in rural locations, have mobility issues, or prefer to keep their treatment private. This option also allows alumni to continue receiving support. Freedom Recovery employs a holistic treatment model, addressing mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Clients engage in one-on-one counseling, participate in 12-Step groups, and take part in various group therapies where they can examine their thoughts, feelings, and challenges while learning effective coping mechanisms. The individualized care approach is intended to promote sustainable recovery from addiction and accompanying mental health issues. Although Freedom Recovery is rooted in a non-denominational Christian ethos that emphasizes healing through divine grace, services are accessible to individuals of any faith.
