Great Lakes Recovery Men's New Hope House is a residential treatment center that has been delivering evidence-based, gender-specific services since 1978, including clinically supervised withdrawal management and strategies for preventing relapse. The duration of the residential program usually spans from 30 to 120 days, with some individuals opting for a 14 to 21-day program focused on relapse prevention. An initial assessment guides the determination of appropriate care, and upon admission, clients collaborate with therapists to create a tailored and comprehensive treatment plan that addresses critical life issues linked to their addiction. During their stay in the residential program, clients engage in a series of structured group sessions aimed at a variety of recovery topics and techniques, which encourage them to chart their own recovery journey.
