HCRC Portland Treatment Center

Health Care Resource Centers (HCRC), previously known as Community Substance Abuse Centers, focuses on providing treatment for substance use disorders and delivers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) through the use of methadone and buprenorphine to address opioid dependencies. The center fosters a supportive and accepting atmosphere that caters to the distinct needs of each client. At HCRC Portland, the following services are also available: The center operates Monday to Friday from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM, with medication services available during the same weekdays from 5:30 AM to 12 PM, and on Saturdays from 7 AM to 10 AM. Patients with MaineCare can access complimentary transportation to and from the facility.

The rehabilitation center focuses on treating substance use disorders alongside mental health issues that may occur simultaneously. Each individual receives a tailored treatment plan that considers both disorders, ensuring compassionate and holistic care for effective recovery.

The rehabilitation center offers acceptance of a variety of insurance plans, enhancing the accessibility and affordability of our services. For Veterans, we are integrated with the VA Community Care Network via Optum and TriWest at numerous sites, contingent upon prior authorization.
