Situated conveniently between Boston and New Hampshire, this center specializes in treating mental health challenges, process addictions, grief, life changes, postpartum depression, and additional concerns.
At LifeStance, a group of highly trained therapists delivers specialized care for a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, crafting individualized treatment strategies for clients across all age groups. They provide therapeutic support for mental disorders including but not limited to depression, anxiety, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. The center also addresses substance use disorders, including both drug and alcohol addiction, alongside process addictions like eating disorders and hoarding, with specific provisions for adolescents experiencing school avoidance. Specialized care tailored to gender-specific issues is available, addressing topics such as postpartum depression and anxiety, couple relationship challenges, grief management, insomnia, and behavioral problems among children.
At LifeStance, personalized treatment is managed by a multidisciplinary team of board-certified professionals and social workers. The therapy approach may encompass various modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused techniques. Additionally, evidence-based methods such as narrative therapy and play therapy may be utilized when engaging with younger clients.
Patients and their families can access a range of services including adult and child/adolescent psychiatry, group therapy, or family counseling tailored to their specific needs. The center also offers support for new parents who might be encountering difficulties related to their mental health or life adjustments. Beyond therapeutic services, LifeStance provides comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological testing alongside evaluations.
