Maine Recovery Collective

Situated in the Ferry Village area of South Portland, Maine Recovery Collective provides a supportive environment for women dealing with substance use challenges. The center is conveniently located just a short 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop and a quick 6-minute drive from downtown Portland. The dedicated staff is also available to help with transportation needs when required. Being just a few blocks from the shoreline, clients can enjoy strolls along the beach and other coastal activities. Maine Recovery Collective aims to make treatment accessible and proudly accepts Mainecare (Medicaid). Clients participate in a variety of programs including 12-Step initiatives, psychoeducation, and both group and individual therapy facilitated by skilled clinicians who possess personal experience. With a holistic focus, Maine Recovery Collective incorporates yoga, meditation, contemplation, and hiking into their therapeutic approach. Moreover, clients are encouraged to engage with the community through volunteer work, while also receiving support from staff to pursue job and education opportunities.

At this center, the main focus is on addressing issues related to substance use disorders. They provide assistance in achieving stability, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and fostering connections with supportive individuals.
