Health Care Resource Centers (HCRC), previously known as Community Substance Abuse Centers, focuses on providing care for individuals facing substance use challenges. They utilize medication-assisted treatment (MAT) that includes methadone and buprenorphine to support those struggling with opioid dependencies. The center is designed to create a friendly and supportive atmosphere, ensuring that each person's treatment is customized to meet their specific requirements. HCRC Lewiston also provides: The center operates Monday to Friday from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM, with medication distribution available during the week from 5:30 AM to 12 PM and on Saturday from 6 AM to 9 AM. Clients enrolled in MaineCare can access complimentary transportation to the facility.

The rehabilitation center specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders alongside mental health issues that may arise simultaneously. Each client's treatment strategy is tailored to tackle both conditions concurrently, ensuring compassionate and individualized care for holistic recovery.

At our rehabilitation center, a variety of insurance options are accepted, enhancing accessibility and affordability for those in need of treatment. For Veterans, we collaborate with the VA Community Care Network via Optum and TriWest at numerous locations, pending prior authorization.
