Situated in a residential area of southwest Provo, Utah, near the crossroads of W 1560 S and S 500 W, the center offers assistance to men (assigned male at birth) and male-identifying adults dealing with persistent mental health issues such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. Participants in the program receive psychiatric treatment and engage in individual, group, and family therapy. The methods employed include dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). Additionally, the program features DBT skills training, life skills enhancement, case management, and medical supervision. Staff members are on-site 24/7, and drug testing occurs at random intervals. Residents enjoy various recreational activities including basketball, video games, and skateboarding, alongside learning day-to-day living skills like cleaning and preparing for job interviews. These activities foster emotional development and help to break down rigid thought patterns. The facility also provides outdoor areas for jogging and other physical activities, reinforcing a stable and nurturing atmosphere.
