Situated in the scenic surroundings of Provo, Utah, OASIS Ascent provides short-term residential care for adolescents aged 13 to 17 facing various behavioral health issues, such as mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, suicidal thoughts, and substance use. The duration of treatment typically spans between 60 and 90 days, tailored to each individual’s requirements. OASIS collaborates with several private insurance carriers, although it generally operates as an out-of-network facility. Young individuals in distress benefit from medication management overseen by psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners. Comprehensive psychological evaluations are conducted to create personalized treatment strategies. At OASIS Ascent, clients participate in individual therapy that incorporates techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Group therapy sessions are facilitated by staff to foster a nurturing community and help clients acquire essential life skills. Family therapy sessions aim to improve communication and family dynamics, assisting families in effectively supporting their teens during treatment. Complementing the clinical approach, recreational therapies—like basketball, climbing, and yoga—as well as creative therapies, including art and music, enhance the overall therapeutic experience. OASIS Ascent also features an accredited on-campus educational facility that offers a structured academic program with customized learning assistance to meet the diverse needs of its students.

Currently, OASIS does not participate in any insurance networks. We will strive to secure pre-authorization for all families. This typically means that your insurance provider will make a decision on whether to approve or decline the request for treatment at OASIS before admission takes place.
