The Pegasus House is a nonprofit residential treatment facility dedicated to assisting women between the ages of 18 and 25 who are on the path to recovery from substance use disorders, including issues related to alcohol and opioids. This program specifically targets the complexities of co-occurring mental health and trauma challenges through a well-structured approach that is responsive to individual needs. Residents benefit from living in a secure, organized setting that includes shared accommodations, communal dining experiences, and designated indoor areas for group and artistic activities. The outdoor facilities feature spaces for volleyball and basketball, promoting both social interaction and physical activity as part of the recovery process. Aftercare plans are initiated upon admission, aiding residents in their transition toward independence and self-sufficiency after they leave the facility.
