RedCliff Ascent

RedCliff Ascent is a wilderness therapy center based in Enterprise, Utah, dedicated to helping adolescents aged 13 to 17 who are dealing with various mental, emotional, and behavioral issues, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. The center utilizes the natural surroundings to break negative habits and encourage personal development. The program features proven therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and experiential therapy, all within a wilderness context. Experienced clinicians create tailored treatment plans that encompass individual, group, and family sessions. Participants engage in activities like hiking, covering around 15 miles each week, as well as mountain biking, which not only provide physical challenges but also serve as therapeutic exercises to foster resilience, cultivate healthy relationships, and develop key life skills. Founded in 1993, RedCliff Ascent holds accreditation from The Joint Commission and is a founding member of the Outdoor Behavioral Healthcare Council. The expenses associated with our program are usually not included under medical insurance since we operate under an Outdoor Therapy Program license.
