Rockland Recovery

Rockland Recovery provides support for individuals struggling with substance use disorders along with related mental health issues. The center offers recovery programs that cater to both genders, featuring co-ed and gender-specific options. Their comprehensive array of services includes day treatment, intensive outpatient programs (IOP) available during the day and evenings, as well as multiple gender-specific sober living facilities. Additionally, there’s a specialized residence for those undergoing day treatment. The treatment approach at Rockland Recovery integrates the 12 Steps, evidence-based practices, and holistic methods to ensure well-rounded care. A family program is also established, occurring bi-weekly, where loved ones of participants can engage in the recovery process. Therapists at Rockland Recovery employ cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) alongside the 12 Steps and various holistic and alternative therapies. Participants in the day treatment program at Rockland Recovery can attend for up to 6 hours each day, six days a week. The IOP sessions are conducted for 3 hours, 3 to 4 days weekly. Evening and daytime options are flexible to accommodate the schedules of students, employees, and parents. Clients have the privilege of using their phones and laptops during non-therapy hours. There are also alternative treatments available, such as ketamine infusions, stellate ganglion blocks, and holistic practices like acupuncture, yoga, and meditation. Rockland Recovery features sober living homes located in Rockland and Dorchester, each designed specifically for one gender, offering a variety of room types, including single, double, and triple accommodations. Residents adhere to rules focused on sobriety and maintain a daily structure that includes 12-Step meetings, life skills workshops, and allocated time for personal activities. Each home is managed by an on-site house manager and routinely conducts drug and alcohol testing.
