About
Rose Hill Center was established motivated by firsthand encounters with mental health challenges and a commitment to supporting others on their journey to recovery. Drawing inspiration from a relative's positive experience with a thoughtful and systematic approach to treatment, the founders developed a residential program that prioritizes compassion and research-backed practices. Nestled on a serene 400-acre property in Michigan, Rose Hill provides a tranquil and restorative setting for individuals seeking long-term mental health recovery.
The center caters to adults facing persistent and co-occurring mental health disorders. A dedicated clinical team provides care for individuals with diagnoses such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, major depressive disorder, and autism spectrum disorder. The treatment focus is on achieving stability, enhancing daily living skills, and promoting enduring well-being through comprehensive support and structured activities.
Initial treatment at Rose Hill involves residential rehabilitation, starting with an extensive 30-day assessment to tailor individual care plans. Participants then transition into services aimed at fostering independence, residing in on-campus townhomes that support daily skill acquisition. For those who complete the program, the Community Support Program offers ongoing assistance, housing resources, and opportunities for social engagement to facilitate a smooth move to independent living.
Rose Hill combines traditional therapeutic methods with experiential practices to aid clients in improving interpersonal relationships and developing effective coping techniques. This includes individual, group, and family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as holistic methods such as therapeutic animal interactions. Engaging in activities like farm work promotes a sense of responsibility and community, while recreational and expressive therapies contribute to emotional regulation and self-awareness throughout every phase of treatment.
Treatment Focus
The center specializes in addressing mental health challenges alongside substance use disorders. Here, you will engage in personalized and team-oriented care that targets both aspects for comprehensive recovery.
