Team members are trained in various essential skills, including meal preparation, laundry, general household upkeep, daily living activities, shopping, budgeting, social skills enhancement, and support in observation and assistance. Turning Leaf emphasizes community integration and upholds the principles of respect for individual rights, privacy, and dignity. Turning Leaf provides care for adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses (SPMI), intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), autism spectrum disorders (ASD), co-occurring substance use issues, personality disorders, histories of traumatic brain injury (TBI), and both behavioral and medical complexities. Their treatment programs are available in residential, day treatment, and community housing environments. At their CARF-accredited sites, clients can access medication-assisted treatment (MAT), personalized therapy, group sessions, life skills development, recreational opportunities, and community engagement experiences.
