About
Twelve Oaks Recovery offers comprehensive treatment for individuals dealing with substance addiction and mental health issues. Their services encompass various levels of care: residential treatment, detoxification, day treatment specifically for addiction, intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for addiction, and ongoing aftercare support. Each client receives a personalized recovery strategy, crafted through thorough evaluations that consider physical, psychological, and medical factors.
The center's mental health services address conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and PTSD. Participants in the residential mental health program engage in individual sessions with psychiatrists, weekly one-on-one meetings with their primary therapists, daily group discussions, and family therapy when necessary, alongside access to 12-Step meetings on-site. Among the evidence-based therapies utilized are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT).
In the addiction treatment program, Twelve Oaks Recovery offers the option of medically supervised detox, residential care, day treatment, and IOP. During day treatment, clients reside at the facility and participate in treatment sessions for six hours each day. In the IOP, clients can live at home while attending sessions three times a week for four hours, with a strong emphasis on group therapy in both formats.
Post-treatment, individuals benefit from lifelong support through weekly alumni meetings, special events, and referrals to continued care facilitated by the center's alumni coordinator. Treatment at Twelve Oaks Recovery is led by a team of seasoned, licensed professionals, including medical doctors, psychiatrists, master's-level practitioners, advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), registered nurses (RNs), and counselors. Group therapy sessions feature clinician-led discussions, processing groups, recreational activities, and peer-led circles. Recreational offerings at Twelve Oaks Recovery include kayaking, beach bonfires, swimming, yoga, and volleyball.
