UF Health - Florida Recovery Center

Nestled on a serene 10-acre wooded property just minutes away from the main UF Health hospital, the UF Health Florida Recovery Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive addiction treatment. The center's team comprises highly skilled addiction medicine experts, including psychiatrists and licensed behavioral health counselors, who are knowledgeable about the most current advancements in the field. Florida Recovery Center offers a complete range of services, including medical detox, inpatient care, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). The treatment modalities at Florida Recovery Center are designed to address every aspect of recovery—physical, emotional, and spiritual—within a supportive, secure, and peaceful environment, utilizing the well-established 12-Step approach. Patients in the outpatient programs have access to on-campus housing, which promotes a safe and independent recovery journey. Recently, UF Health has enhanced the Florida Recovery Center with a newly constructed, expansive 9,000-square-foot facility that provides more space for patient treatment, group activities, and addiction services. The center's sober living accommodations are designed to be comfortable, with shared housing options for 1-3 residents. Patients can also partake in a variety of outdoor recreational activities, including an outdoor BBQ area, swimming pool, basketball court, volleyball, and ping pong, among others.
