Valley Vista Recovery - Women's Program

Valley Vista offers a nurturing and secure space for women to share their journeys with addiction and the path to recovery. This women-only environment enhances feelings of camaraderie and understanding essential for healing. Prior to entering residential care, clients have the opportunity to undergo medical detox, which is often a crucial step before engaging in therapeutic sessions. Once detox is complete, ongoing medical supervision and medication management are available to assist with cravings and withdrawal symptoms during treatment. Within the residential program, women benefit from individualized treatment plans that address the unique challenges faced by women in recovery. Clients engage in three individual therapy sessions weekly, coupled with 6 to 8 hours of group therapy each day. The clinicians implement various evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, eye movement therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, play therapy, and existential therapy. Many women find value in incorporating holistic methods such as mindfulness, yoga, meditation, reiki, and creative expression through writing and journaling. Valley Vista also prioritizes aftercare planning to support clients in maintaining their recovery and reintegrating into everyday life.

The center specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders alongside any related mental health issues. Each individual’s treatment plan is tailored to address these conditions simultaneously, ensuring a compassionate approach that promotes overall recovery and well-being.

Valley Vista accepts a wide range of commercial insurance providers. If a patient's insurance is not mentioned, we encourage reaching out, as Valley Vista collaborates with various health plans as an out-of-network service provider. In instances where formal contracts with commercial insurance companies are absent, Valley Vista strives to establish single-case agreements to facilitate coverage for treatment.
