Situated in Park City, the Jupiter residence covers an impressive 10,000 square feet and is specifically crafted to support up to 16 women in their recovery journey. Nestled in a breathtaking natural setting, the center serves as a peaceful haven for women seeking to reflect, process their past, and pursue sobriety, all guided by caring professionals. The Jupiter facility offers a calming and restorative atmosphere that caters to women, enriching their healing experience with the stunning views of the mountains and the charm of the Wasatch Range. Wasatch Crest boasts a tranquil mountainous landscape, perfect for their adventure-themed recovery program, which is designed to instill a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm through activities tailored for women, such as rock climbing, fly fishing, ice skating, snowshoeing, and equine therapy. The program includes weekend adventures like hiking in the Wasatch Mountains, stand-up paddleboarding, and rock climbing, offering many chances for both physical activity and mental wellness in a supportive female environment. Originally constructed for the 2002 Winter Olympics, the primary residence has now been transformed into a 20-bed facility that specializes in gender-responsive treatment. Nearby, a transitional living house provides additional accommodations for 8 women, located close to facilities for partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care, emphasizing the support system uniquely designed for women. The dedicated and knowledgeable team at Wasatch Crest, which includes master's-level therapists, creates individualized detox and recovery plans for each client. The program integrates cognitive behavioral therapy with mindfulness practices, offering tailored counseling and experiential therapies, such as art and music therapy, yoga, mindfulness exercises, and Native American spirituality groups, all aimed at addressing the specific challenges faced by women in recovery. Special features like a sweat lodge, tennis courts, and exclusive hiking paths further enhance the healing experience.
