Adult and Teen Challenge Wasilla Men's Campus

Situated in the picturesque town of Wasilla, approximately 45 miles from Anchorage, the Adult and Teen Challenge Wasilla Men’s Campus provides a faith-based recovery program tailored for men facing challenges with substance use. Established by David Wilkerson in 1960, the Adult and Teen Challenge network now includes nearly 250 centers within the United States and over 1,000 facilities across 95 countries worldwide. For participants in the Pacific Northwest region, there is a one-time intake fee of $500, while no ongoing monthly fees are charged throughout the duration of the program. The Wasilla Men’s Campus operates a year-long program with accommodations for up to 24 men. The curriculum at Adult and Teen Challenge is rooted in biblical principles, emphasizing three primary objectives: healing from the effects of substance use, restoring relationships with Jesus Christ and others, and personal transformation grounded in faith. During their time in the program, participants engage in sermons, Bible study sessions, prayer, spiritual retreats, and vocational training. It is important to note that the facility does not have medical personnel on-site, so individuals must complete detoxification before joining the program. To maintain a focused recovery environment, contact with anyone outside of immediate family is restricted, and electronic devices are prohibited. In line with the commitment to support recovery from substance use, smoking is also not permitted on the premises.
