Treatment options may feature individual and group therapy employing practices such as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement therapy (EMDR), 12-Step facilitation, and motivational interviewing (MI). Regular 12-Step meetings are also a component of the program, with group sessions covering various important topics including coping strategies, recognizing triggers, enhancing communication, preventing relapse, and more. Set Free Alaska’s residential facilities are situated in serene neighborhoods or rural areas. While the program is rooted in Christian principles, individuals do not need to identify as Christian to participate. Set Free Alaska holds accreditation from the Joint Commission and accepts a majority of private insurance plans and Medicaid.
