Align Adolescent Recovery for Boys

Align is designed to assist teenage boys in grades 9-12 who are experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, difficulties with executive functioning, substance use disorders, challenges in conventional educational environments, and family-related conflicts or behavioral problems. This dual-diagnosis residential program functions as an accredited recovery high school, allowing for simultaneous clinical healing and academic advancement. The center's environment is tailored for bright but troubled teens to restore their confidence, catch up on their studies, and begin the journey toward emotional regeneration. At Align Adolescent Recovery, the treatment path is personalized and relational, ensuring each student is met at their current level and supported in their growth. Recovery serves as the foundation upon which a holistic approach is built, utilizing evidence-based therapies, 12-Step programs, and hands-on learning experiences. The on-site high school addresses academic stress by fostering self-esteem, treating each student as inherently capable and unlocking their potential with clear expectations and sustained encouragement. Family involvement is emphasized as well, facilitating trust restoration and nurturing change within the home environment. Nestled on a sprawling 100-acre ranch near Tucson, the Align campus enjoys expansive skies and features horse trails throughout the property. Daily routines at the center combine wellness practices with real-life challenges: cold plunge sessions and sauna therapy integrated with dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) meditation to soothe anxiety; alongside engaging activities in a fully-equipped fitness center and opportunities for sports like soccer, volleyball, skateboarding, and batting practice. Adventure is abundant with on-campus paintball, rock climbing, and hiking, enabling teens to cultivate resilience while they heal. There are also dedicated spaces for music and art, encouraging creative expression. The shared living areas foster a warm, family-like atmosphere. Align's aftercare program focuses on making the transition to life after treatment practical and optimistic. Long before students graduate, their families collaborate on a personalized step-down plan that aligns with their real-world needs. When the time comes to move on, Align guides students in selecting their next steps—whether returning home with a structured plan, continuing with their transitional living partner, Pivot, or including outpatient support. The team facilitates transitions so that each student departs with a clear, actionable roadmap and connections with people who are already familiar with their journey.
