Seven Arrows Recovery focuses on addressing addiction alongside accompanying mental health issues through a distinct holistic methodology. They integrate a customized mix of evidence-driven, holistic, and spiritual therapies to facilitate long-lasting recovery for their clients. Their approach emphasizes trauma-informed and strengths-based care, tailoring support to meet individual aspirations and developmental journeys. To enhance accessibility, Seven Arrows Recovery also provides transportation services to and from the airport. At Seven Arrows Recovery, attention is given to primary addiction as well as co-existing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and trauma. A variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques are employed to enable clients to address these issues concurrently. Offered therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodrama, art therapy, EMDR, narrative exposure therapy, equine-assisted activities, motivational interviewing, and other methods. While participants are enrolled at Seven Arrows Recovery, each is paired with a dedicated therapist who conducts individual sessions 1-2 times a week. Clients engage in four hours of group therapy daily alongside an additional two hours of supplemental therapies, which include equine-assisted activities where each client is assigned one of the center’s 30 horses during their stay. Other holistic activities available involve trauma-sensitive yoga, gardening, physical fitness, night sky observation, excursions, and sweat lodge experiences. Indigenous healing practices and cultural elements are interwoven into their treatment programs as well. Family involvement is encouraged at Seven Arrows Recovery, with visitation available on Sundays from 2-5pm. Clients also have access to their phones for a half-hour each evening and can make necessary business calls. Upon completing residential treatment, Seven Arrows Recovery facilitates connections to continued care in an outpatient setting and can assist in arranging detox services prior to entry if required. Alumni gatherings take place weekly, along with onsite 12-Step meetings, and additional alumni functions throughout the year.
