Good Road Recovery

Located on an expansive green campus, Good Road Recovery Center is a licensed program for treating substance use disorders, managed by the Three Affiliated Tribes: the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation. Participation in this specialized program is restricted to members of the MHA. Good Road Recovery views alcoholism and substance dependence as a disease that affects not only the physical and mental health of clients and their families but also the overall community dynamics within the Tribe. The center emphasizes that connecting individuals with their cultural roots and the guidance of the Great Spirit enhances their chances of preventing relapse. This is achieved through compassionate education, cultural reintegration, and family involvement in prevention efforts. Good Road Recovery Center provides both residential and outpatient treatment along with comprehensive case management. Each treatment plan is tailored to individual needs, with durations varying from no minimum up to 18-24 months. Nestled in a serene rural location, Good Road Recovery features a newly renovated, spacious facility equipped with amenities such as a movie theater, indoor and outdoor lounge spaces, roomy shared restrooms, and walking trails. Clients can savor stunning mountain views or stroll through the center’s lush grounds.
