The Granite House

Granite House offers a unique and comprehensive approach to rehabilitation, guiding clients from the initial stages of medical detox to a life of sobriety. The recovery journey typically begins at the Green Mountain Treatment Center, where individuals undergo detox and residential programs. Following this, they have the option to transition to Granite House, an independent sober living facility located in Derry, New Hampshire. The accommodations cater separately to men and women to ensure focused treatment. At Granite House, the day starts early with a wake-up call, leading into meditation, communal chores, and breakfast. This is followed by sessions with personal therapists or group therapy facilitated by the recovery team. During weekends, clients have opportunities for group activities, family visits, recovery meetings, and movie nights. Granite House emphasizes creating a nurturing, homelike environment. Roommates share bedrooms with one other person, and yoga classes are available on-site, alongside off-site 12-Step meetings and various activities. The residences are conveniently situated near downtown and a short drive from scenic hiking trails.

The center specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders alongside accompanying mental health issues. Our approach involves developing a tailored treatment plan that tackles all disorders simultaneously, ensuring individualized and compassionate care for thorough recovery.
