Granite Recovery Centers operates nine facilities throughout New Hampshire, with Green Mountain Treatment Center in Effingham being one of the two residential options. The standard length of stay is 30 days, focusing on holistic methods that tackle the underlying issues of addiction. Patients engage in various therapeutic activities, including individual and group counseling, recreational therapy, yoga, mindfulness practices, and therapy focused on trauma. During the treatment phase, the use of cell phones and electronic devices is restricted. Clients also participate in essential daily chores to cultivate independence and structure. Nestled across 77 acres, the Green Mountain campus offers breathtaking views of New Hampshire's White Mountains, creating a peaceful atmosphere for healing. Clients enjoy shared accommodations, outdoor areas, and recreational spaces to relax and recharge.
