Petty Creek Ranch is a Christian-oriented rehabilitation center designed for boys aged 12 to 18 who are facing various risks. Located in Alberton, Montana, this residential treatment facility is managed by a Catholic family dedicated to helping youth regain control over their lives. The center's objective is to support young males in overcoming personal challenges, providing an environment conducive to growth, free from negative influences like peer pressure and substance abuse. At Petty Creek Ranch, residents participate in traditional addiction recovery programs along with academic and vocational training. They also benefit from extensive family therapy, recovery coaching, and alternative therapies such as equine-assisted activities and action-oriented therapy. The facility employs a 12-step framework that promotes mindfulness, emotional regulation, resilience, and effective interpersonal skills. Moreover, Petty Creek Ranch offers an enriching Montana lifestyle, featuring outdoor activities like rafting, skiing, camping, and horseback riding. A trauma-focused clinician is on staff to provide EMDR therapy for those who have experienced abuse or suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder. Petty Creek Ranch is accredited by the Joint Commission and does not accept insurance.
