They provide both short- and long-term residential care for mental health, alongside intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and sober living options. Additionally, SeaView runs an alcohol safety action initiative for individuals facing DWI or related offenses. The outpatient services at SeaView are conveniently located in downtown Seward, operating Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Day Treatment, and offering the IOP program three evenings a week, Tuesday to Thursday, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Treatment approaches incorporate a mix of individual and group counseling, various effective addiction treatment methodologies, and medications aimed at helping clients manage their conditions and reintegrate into routine life. SeaView’s recovery housing can accommodate up to 10 residents in their bay view apartments situated in downtown Seward. Designed as gender-specific living spaces, these apartments foster a drug- and alcohol-free environment while offering access to essential services that support sustained recovery. Residents are also assisted in finding permanent housing, securing employment, and obtaining ongoing support. Since its establishment in 1972, SeaView has been a cornerstone for high-quality addiction treatment in the Eastern Kenai Peninsula.
