Claudia Black Center

The Claudia Black Center is specifically designed for adults aged 18 to 26 who are dealing with substance abuse issues, including both alcohol and drugs, as well as related mental health challenges. The center offers gender-specific programs that incorporate experiential treatment techniques alongside peer support. At the Claudia Black Center, clients engage in somatic experiencing, neurofeedback, and various holistic practices, utilizing the unique Meadows Model. Treatment modalities include experiential therapies, expressive arts, individual and group sessions, along with 12-Step program involvement. As a component of Meadows Behavioral Healthcare, the center provides medically supervised detoxification, residential services, and comprehensive aftercare planning. The client-to-therapist ratio is maintained at 6:1, ensuring personalized attention. The Claudia Black Center is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts a wide range of major insurance plans. Nestled on 14 acres in the picturesque Sonoran Desert, the Claudia Black Center features amenities such as yoga and tai chi sessions, as well as a fully equipped gym. Clients can enjoy outdoor activities with lawn games and a tranquility-inducing labyrinth for mindfulness and meditation. A seasonal pool is also available for relaxation. Additionally, the center has access to horses located just a few miles away for equine-assisted therapy. Accommodations at the center are shared, including bathroom facilities.

The rehabilitation center specializes in addressing substance use disorders alongside related mental health issues. The treatment approach is tailored to meet individual needs, providing empathetic and thorough care for holistic recovery.

The Claudia Black Young Adult Center collaborates with MultiPlan, Sana Benefits, and TRICARE as in-network options. Additionally, we can assist clients who prefer to use out-of-network providers.
