About
Set on an expansive 80-acre equestrian estate, Flatirons Recovery serves as a welcoming haven for individuals embarking on the path to recover from substance use issues, mental health challenges, or co-occurring disorders. The team at Flatirons recognizes the difficulties that often accompany the pursuit of treatment while juggling daily life. To address this, they provide day treatment (partial hospitalization or PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), as well as a recovery residence for those in need of additional support.
The center’s primary holistic approaches incorporate mindfulness-based therapies aimed at enhancing emotional regulation, alongside gender-specific initiatives designed to tackle the distinct challenges faced by men and women. Their CRAFT program is tailored to empower families in aiding their loved ones on the road to recovery. The day treatment program involves 6 hours of therapeutic services daily, while the IOP consists of 3 hours of individual and group therapy, psychiatric support, and other essential services.
In addition to established cognitive-behavioral methods, Flatirons Recovery employs a mindfulness-centered strategy that promotes awareness and presence in the moment. This encompasses practices like meditation, yoga, and biofeedback, all of which contribute to stress reduction, better emotional management, and enhanced coping strategies—key components in minimizing relapse risk and fostering overall health.
Flatirons’ framework is designed to mirror a vibrant, healthy lifestyle conducive to long-term recovery. Clients engage in various daily activities and experience both of Flatirons' facilities: a therapeutic office environment for clinical sessions and a comfortable, contemporary ranch house dedicated to self-care, nourishment, and community engagement. Beyond ranch life, clients can partake in enjoyable sober activities, including hiking, rock climbing, paddleboarding, frisbee golf, museum visits, bowling, attending sports events, and connecting with sober-living communities.
Treatment Focus
The rehabilitation center focuses on addressing issues related to substance use and related mental health disorders. Each individual's treatment plan is tailored to simultaneously support both areas, ensuring a holistic approach through caring and individualized attention for complete recovery.
