About
Mile High Recovery Center provides a comprehensive approach to help individuals transform their lives through continuous support. Catering to a wide array of substance use issues, the center tailors its services to meet each client’s unique needs. Whether individuals require medical detox, structured early sobriety support, or assistance in redefining their lives post-recovery, Mile High offers a versatile array of services designed to adapt as clients advance in their sobriety journey. The strength of the clinical program is complemented by the genuine care and commitment of the staff.
Founded in 2016 with the mission of accompanying individuals through every stage of recovery, Mile High has expanded from a single sober living facility to a diverse selection of treatment options, including detoxification, residential, outpatient, and sober living facilities. The dedicated team consists of experienced professionals, many of whom have personal recovery stories, enabling them to provide compassionate and insightful guidance. Their deep connections to Denver's LGBTQ+ recovery community and a dynamic alumni network further enhance the sense of belonging and support for all clients.
Stepping into Mile High feels more like entering a welcoming community than a clinical environment. The center boasts charming exposed brick walls, abundant natural light, and thoughtful decor, including pride flags and milestones achieved by alumni, fostering an uplifting atmosphere. Located in the heart of the city, clients benefit from the vibrant energy of urban life while being embraced by a supportive recovery community.
Post-treatment support is an ongoing commitment at Mile High. Through an interactive alumni app, clients maintain connections with peers and staff directly from their devices. Alumni frequently return for weekly meetings and participate in monthly and quarterly events that promote sharing experiences and celebrating individual achievements.
Treatment Focus
The center focuses on addressing issues related to substance use and simultaneous mental health disorders. Each individual receives a tailored treatment strategy that considers all aspects of their well-being, ensuring compassionate and thorough support for holistic recovery.
