Mountain House serves as an essential launchpad for young men embarking on their recovery journey after treatment. It combines elements of adventure, community, and personal transformation, offering a program that integrates evidence-based therapies with holistic approaches and exciting outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and rock climbing. By embracing the natural world and fostering deep connections, Mountain House empowers individuals to create meaningful, sober lives. The program is structured into three distinct phases. In Phase 1, known as Basecamp, participants receive personalized treatment plans and life coaching, focusing on crucial life skills including budgeting and resume development. This phase also involves community service and outdoor adventures each month, setting the stage for their recovery. Moving into Phase 2, called Ascent, residents are encouraged to pursue full-time work or education while remaining engaged in therapy. This phase emphasizes financial independence and building the resilience necessary to navigate life confidently and soberly. The final phase, Summit, supports residents as they transition to independent living, either in the Summit House or their own accommodation. The emphasis is on sustaining sobriety, applying the skills they've acquired, and actively participating in the recovery community. Participants continue to receive support as they navigate life purposefully, bolstered by the progress they've made. Located in Flagstaff, Arizona, the center benefits from an abundance of outdoor activities and stunning landscapes, providing an ideal backdrop for recovery experiences at Mountain House. Positioned near the San Francisco Peaks and surrounded by national forests, Flagstaff offers numerous opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and winter skiing.

The focus of this center is on addressing substance use disorders. Here, individuals find assistance in achieving stability, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and accessing empathetic support.
