The Meadows

The Meadows, located in Wickenburg, Arizona, is dedicated to assisting individuals in overcoming the challenges of trauma and addiction. By employing a comprehensive methodology, the center offers a combination of holistic and therapeutic practices such as somatic experiencing, EMDR, Tai Chi, mindfulness exercises, creative arts, and equine-assisted therapy. Rather than adopting a uniform approach, The Meadows provides tailored behavioral health services that cater to the unique requirements of each client. The Meadows encompasses nine specialized programs, including the Claudia Black Young Adult Center, Willow House, and Gentle Path. Their medical and clinical personnel deliver round-the-clock nursing care, have an on-site physician, and are guided by a full-time Chief of Psychiatry. They also engage families through a dedicated Family Week to enhance the support networks for clients transitioning back home. To ensure a depth of clinical expertise and a caring atmosphere, The Meadows places a strong emphasis on staff training. The center holds accreditation from The Joint Commission and offers behavioral health and addiction recovery services to TRICARE beneficiaries, encompassing active service members, veterans, and their families. Additionally, they work in partnership with Multiplan and liaise with numerous out-of-network providers. The facility promotes introspection and healing through its expansive natural environments, communal living spaces, and tranquil desert backdrop. Features such as the outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, yoga sessions, and spiritual counseling support physical vitality, emotional release, and overall wellness as clients navigate their recovery journey.

The rehabilitation center offers specialized treatment for both substance use issues and mental health challenges. Each patient benefits from personalized care designed around their specific circumstances and diagnoses, gaining valuable skills for their recovery journey while fostering supportive relationships in a nurturing atmosphere.
