The Counseling Center, as part of Addiction Recovery Care, provides outpatient support that encompasses individual and group therapy sessions, 12-Step and Celebrate Recovery meetings, peer support, targeted case management, and medically assisted treatment (MAT). They offer intensive outpatient programs (IOP) featuring adaptable schedules, specifically tailored for those who do not require medically supervised detox. A day in the IOP program typically involves a combination of personalized individual therapy and group sessions designed to address the unique needs of each participant. Clients engage in evidence-based therapies as well as faith-oriented support groups such as Celebrate Recovery. The program also includes vocational training initiatives that aim to equip clients with necessary job skills. Peer support and targeted case management play a critical role in the daily routine, with classes available 3 to 5 days each week at various times throughout the day. Notable aspects of the center include same-day appointment availability, vocational training, and job placement assistance to aid clients in their journey to reintegrate into society with defined objectives. The vocational training program focuses on developing crucial job skills that improve employability and support sustained recovery. This training encompasses a range of practical skills aligned with each person's interests and the demands of the job market, including opportunities for resume crafting, interview practice, computer skills, and specialized training in areas like carpentry, culinary arts, or customer service. Emphasizing a faith-guided approach, the center includes spiritual care services, chaplain support, and faith-based recovery sessions such as AA and Celebrate Recovery. These initiatives promote a reliance on a higher power aligned with Christian principles. The holistic approach of ARC highlights the significance of spiritual health, in addition to physical and emotional well-being, fostering a compassionate and comprehensive recovery experience.
